PETA IS AWESOME!!!

Less than a day after PETA released heartbreaking photos drawing attention to the plight of more than 50 dogs who were transported on a Lufthansa cargo plane from the U.S. to an animal-testing facility in Scotland, Lufthansa took quick action by announcing a new policy prohibiting the transport of dogs and cats to laboratories.

Without the help of more than 22,000 compassionate people who contacted Lufthansa within the first 24 hours, this important victory for dogs and cats would have been impossible.

However, this is only a partial victory because Lufthansa's new policy does not cover all animals who are transported to laboratories.
